Synopsis
Rurouni Kenshin is a series which takes place during the Bakumatsu in Japan, there was a merciless swordsman known as Hitokiri Battousai, who fought alongside revolutionaries against the government. After the revolution, he suddenly disappeared and throughout the years became a legend. About ten years later a mysterious man appears named Himura Kenshin. He is a vagabond with a dark past and sunny disposition.
He was an assassin of utmost skill in the Meiji restoration, who in the turning point of the war simply walked away. His travels lead him to Tokyo in the 11th year of the Meiji era, where he befriends a female Kendo master, a former thief, a brawler and a doctor all with their own secrets. This anime series was great and i have watch the movie, the ova prequel, and the ova conclusion to the series. The movie was good, the ova prequel was very well done, but the ova conclusion to the series i felt was very bad and a discrace to the series.

hands down this is simply one of the best animes out there. I love it soo much. I even have this on dvd. If you haven't watched, take your time out to do so.

This is one that I really enjoyed!!!. Although I was really perplexed about the way that it ended, the action was breath taking, and I really wish that it did not have to end. This is a must see for all!!

A must see for everyone who enjoys anime. The story is amazing and the characters are great. As for Kenshin.....he cooks, he cleans, he's great with children, and of course he kicks ass! We need more Kenshin's in the world, at the least more animes like this. I couldn't stop watching.....laughed alot, cried a little. It's one of the best ever made in my opinion.

I've looked all over this website for the OVAs for Rurouni Kenshin...and yet I still can't seem to find them, or Samurai X. Can someone tell me where to find them?? Or are they even on animecrave. If not, someone please tell me another website, I need to know. I cannot afford to buy them.

This is my absolute favourite anime on the planet! :D I remember I watched all 95 eps and the movie and decided to watch the 6 part OVA after...BIG MISTAKE! I balled like a frickin baby for 3 days ;_; I couldnt even look at a Kenshin picture without crying lol. Obviously I have something wrong with me lmao. It is hounestly the best thing I have ever watched! Well it and Sailor Moon are fighting for number 1 and Gravitation/Angel Sanctuary are fighting for number 2 lol. YOU MUST ALL WATCH KENSHIN!!! Yes, the ending did suck a little bit, but dont worry...watch the OVA last and it will all be worth it! :D
There actually aren't any episodes with Enishi in them, I'm afraid. Most, if not all, of the third season isn't from anything in the manga. I think it was because they got ahead, but they have Enishi in the movies and OVA.
