My first ever "Anime" series was DBZ...hey but I was 11...I was hooked after the first episode and watched every bit. Now that I think about the show, I can't stand to watch it. I have a card collection.

Yeah well, there's trading cards and game cards. I like the trading ones better because they come in holo. and gold metalic films.

I agree nice signature =D
My friend bought me the Inuyasha trading card game thing, like one pack, even though I told her I didn't play, but it had a glittery card thing.. it was fascinating and took complete control of my attention for a good 3 minutes. I kept myself amused, and then I gave them to my brother, cos Inuyasha's his favourite anime =P

Cool =P Haha there was a Houjo card, and it was for gaining energy or something, I just found that really funny, and painfully ironic, but I saved it cos it gives me a good laugh =P

Hi, I'm new here and feel an obligation to add my two cents about this subject. First of all, I love DBZ. I thought it was a great series. However, it has a few flaws and it doesn't compare well with some of the newer animes out. Some of the episodes and (sometimes) sagas do little to move the plot forward (the Garlic Jr. saga was completely pointless). They use some of the same fight scenes over and over again. Most of the music in the series was pretty bad. And a few other problems that escape my memory right now. Besides those few complaints, it was a great series. Second of all, a live action version sounds like a pretty stupid idea to me. Especially if they have an american directing this movie. It's not going to be Akira Toriyama's Dragonball Z, but Roland Emmerich's "vision" of Dragonball Z. Basically it means its going to be completely FUBAR. The cast list for this movie I personally find pretty suspect (does anyone realize that Goku is going to be a black guy, unless I'm thinking of someone else). The only guy who might be perfect for the role they're cast in is Bill Goldberg as Nappa. All of these things tell me it's either going to be the worst movie ever made or so insanely great that no one is going to see it coming (including me). Well, that's my 2 cents on this subject. Do with it what you will.

Why in the world do they keep making Dragonball shite... They have 3 painfuly long tv shows and 13 Flip'n movies what more could a 5 to 12yo boy ask for. and to pull it off 95% of the movie would have to be CG and the last time I checked that wasn't live action. Sorry for the rant I just think they would be better off just letting this one go...
