Which one is academically superior is debatable but to me anime is definitely a better way to escape from reality.

So how does it normally make you feel when someone says that anime has more original characters and more in depth plots than the garbage that America puts on tv?

I would agree since I still watch anime and don't watch tv much any more.

Either side is debatable i prefer my escapes and anime is right up there with music, and Books...
