Well I downloaded and installed it last night. You can also do so through link below. Only install if you know what you are doing though. This is just a beta and you will have to revert to vista after it is over.

I wasn't expecting much from it but I was wrong. It's much better than vista. It no longer has useless alerts for everything like the old UAC. Performance wise, it is running much faster for me then vista did and the boot time was also faster. I also prefer the navigation in this OS.

I honestly like it. Windows 7 is almost or same as Windows XP by its usability. Its great that it would go out of Beta now very soon too~ ^^
Oh, and if you noticed that its Picture Viewer didn't view .Gif Images, it should be added as a compatibility to it very soon~ ^^

windows 7 isnt bad imo but there are still some things that need to be sorted out like the low frames per second in certain games but for the time being im going to stick to XP but have 7 ready to upgrade to in about 6 months time when it may actually be completely fixed as normal ith microsoft they seem to release before they have whittled out all the bugs

I got a free copy of Windows 7 Ultimate from Microsoft and I have XP mode... but I seriously don't use it and it runs all the stuff I want to use anyway.

Seems like a monitor issue rather than a windows 7 issue. I don't think it "Crashed" either. They got to the next screen by using a mouse just fine.

lol yea that looks like a SONY!! monitor issue.. but anywho i got windows 7 ultimate and hav no issues with anything.. but i never had an issue with vista either.. but at work i setup my bosses computer with windows 7 and he has to use the xp mode and it works great.. you dont really need to literally open up the virtual machine, it will just open the program up for you while still in windows 7.. its pretty cool

That isnt windows 7 crashing in the first place. Most probable reason was the monitor or driver issues for the touch screen.
I actually have crashed windows 7, Yes it was a crash because it was the infamous blue screen of death. I can not recall how I did it but I assure you it was because I was doing many things at once, like downloading stuff installing stuff browsing about 15 web pages had some other things going. Oddly, I do that all the time now and it works fine.
Anyhow, Windows 7, once you take all the stupid shit off of it, is a dream.
