Photoshop Questions

Postby TessL1981 » May 13th, 2008, 2:32 am

Hi all!!! I'm new to Photoshop software and I was just wondering if I'm able to make animated avatars and signatures using Photoshop software or do I need a different software for that. I know a lot of you use Photoshop for creating avatars and signatures.

Thanks for any help.

Okay, KeKe thanks for the info. I just got Photoshop 7.0 and I'm pretty new to this software and making signatures. The one that I currently have set up on here is one my first attempts at making signatures using a different photo software.

If you're using photoshop 7(which is ancient), then more than likely it came with imageready; which you'll find in your program files or at the bottom of the main toolbar in photoshop. Use photoshop for editing the individual images(keep each frame in its own layer) and then open it up with imageready to edit and compile the animation.

Here's a small tutorial to get you started:

If you decide to upgrade to photoshop cs3, know that imageready has been disconntinued but most of the core features have been implemented into photoshop cs3 while others have been pushed over into adobe fireworks...
