Meh, thats what im saying... The anime that has yet to finish dubbed, should be added subbed; If the dubb is completely released, then add it dubbed.

Welp, they will have one of three choices.

1.) They can go screw themselves.
2.) They can politely ask Bassam to revert the Subbed to Dubbed; after the dubbed has been completed.
3.) They can try to comprehend as to why Subbed is better 8).. Or atleast why the subbed should not be shunned stictly because people think its to complicated to read the Subtitles, and watch the story simultaneously. 5th grade reading level should handle it pretty nicely. If the only reason being... You do not like the subbed voices, then i'm not sure what to tell you, cause I completely disagree. Waiting months, or even years for some of the larger anime to Dubb is pretty retarded regardless the reason.

Hi,

Well due to the fact that doing it subbed would only mean that we would have to go back later on and make it dubbed again, we will stick with the way things have always been done. Besides the amount of work that will have to be done by Jenna and I there is the matter of resources and I doubt anyone on AC wants to pay more then $5 a month but at this time doing things subbed and dubbed will double the work and double the resources that have to be used. Also there is no need to just do something subbed simply because its awesome, there will always be another awesome series out there that's already dubbed or is being dubbed. That doesn't mean the series will never be added to AC it just means it has to wait in line just like everything else.

Yes, I much prefer subbed than dubbed. If at all possible I wish there were a choice.

We never gave choices on watching dubbed or subbed. In fact back then there was no choices at all, only choice you could make was which anime to watch and back then we only had very few. We did in fact have subbed anime as we do not for example Cardcaptor Sakura. As explained before if the anime dubs were very bad we will do the subbed version. One day we may offer both but right now its pretty much impossible.

I've been watching lots of subs lately.

Inukami!
My-Hime
Attempted FMP:TSR
Eureka 7

All at the same time which is unusually for me. =\

If I want any anime on this site subbed it's SOOOOO easy to find. They're everywhere. I'll be happy to send some links.

English on the other hand... not easy to find. Not one like this website at least.

Seems a bit odd that AC is the only English dubbed Anime site on the internet. You would think that others would try the same. AC is my number 1 site for anime, and for subbed I use da-anime.org Between these two, I could litterally watch Anime untill I die of old age.

I don't know about anyone else but I prefer subs over dubs, but most of the anime here are dubbed so it makes me dislike it and I don't watch dubbed anime. So if they can please add more subs and add dubs if you want but please add subs to the animes.

Where are the subs?

Postby Lord_Darkclaw » August 27th, 2007, 3:09 am

I signed up to watch Ah! My Goddess (I've ordered the boxed set on Amazon but it will be weeks before it arrives from the USA) but it's in English. After watching episodes 1-5 in Japanese I can't possibly watch it in English now.

Are all the animes on AnimeCrave dubbed in English? I don't mind so much if I haven't watched an anime before, but so much is lost in the English dubbed translation, and I can't switch from listening to a Japanese voice to an American voice.

Might I suggest adding the notes "subbed" or "dubbed" next to the files, or adding icons?

edit* ... oh wait a second. They are listed in the main menu! I didn't notice that.
